N9WP 2 meter Coverage Pictures

These pictures were taken from the program "Radio Mobile", a link at the bottom of the page will take you to were you can download this program. These are estimates of my base station. My equipment consists of a Icom V8000 and a Yaesu FT-1500m 2 meter radio. The antenna is a Diamond F23A with 7.8db gain mounted at 33 feet in the air. My Diamond CP22E 2 meter antenna with a 6.5db gain was taken out by a bird flying into it. I can honestly tell you that the CP22E was a great antenna but the F23A is about 2 S-units stonger in signal strength.


This is from my new QTH at around 25 watts, hope to hear you on, tune to 146.500 simplex, that is where the Boone County gang is and so am I.
