-07-30-2006 updated several frequencies, need to add the SAFET digital trunking systems with talkgroup id's, will come next month.

- 04-11-2003 updated a couple things, added comment about HAM Radio weather spotters.

- 08-15-2002 added a couple more HAM frequencies and put some frequencies in a better order.

- 07-16-2002 added a bunch of HAM Radio frequencies I've verified as a HAM.

- 03-23-2002 added all kinds of stuff I've verified over the last year.

- 03-07-2001 added business frequencies to the Montgomery county area.

- 12-02-2000 added Hamilton County info.

- 10-18-2000 added business frequencies to the Lafayette list.

- Anything that happens to say 'Tri County' means it covers several counties especially Fountain, Warren, Parke, and Vermilion counties in West Central Indiana. Parke and Vermillion counties Sheriff and Fire departments in Indiana may be moving or have already moved to the SAFET Digital trunk system. - (on SAFET) This frequency may no longer be active and all traffic has moved to the new digital SAFET syste.

- Most Highway Department frequencys are snow plows and are great to listen to during a snow storm.

- Listen to the main HAM radio frequencys during severe weather, HAM's are usually weather spotters and a Severe Weather Net may be started to track the storm, If you listen to the HAM's, you'll know the situation before the National Weather Service and local tv and radio stations do. You may also here me (KC9BZN) on the 147.105 repeater in Boone County. HAM radio is where alot of media get there storm reports from.

* - Trunked Frequency Motorola Type II, usually one data channel that alternates every 24 hours for each group. The State Police from W. Lafayette also broadcasts Caroll County's Sheriff department.

** - Trunked Frequency for Tippecanoe County, Motorola Type IIi - Lafayette Police, West Lafayette Police, Tippecanoe County Sheriff, Fire, Lafayette EMS, Government, Water Company, Sewer Department, School buses, and Street Depatment. Look HERE for the trunked codes and how to program.

*** - Trunked Frequency - Montgomery Co Sheriff, Crawfordsville School Busses, ???. Still learning the system, most traffic can be heard on 853.0125 if you don't have a trunk tracker.

$$ - Trunked frequency, GE/Ericson system. These frequencies need to be put into the scanner in logical order in order for a trunk tracking scanner to scan them. They are listed in logical order on this websight. Older trunk trackers cannot track GE/Ericson systems, only the newer scanners can.
